Wine Lovers Travel was born of Founder/CEO Gail Sherman's passion for travel. We specialize in small group cruises and trips to the world's great wine regions. Our itineraries are based upon personal "off the beaten track" experiences because we know the joy that comes from feeling like a local, not a tourist. Wine Lovers Travel vacations are not bus and photo stop tours!
We work with all the major cruise lines and local travel companies, concentrating on the premier and deluxe brands whose itineraries and amenities align with delicious food and wine. Your vacation with us will include events exclusive to Wine Lovers Travel. Examples are private wine-paired dinners and tasting seminars, custom curated land tours and pre- and post-cruise packages. Our trips are often hosted by the owner or winemaker from premier wineries, who will enhance your wine knowledge and contribute to the camaraderie of Wine Lovers Travel.
Whether you are seeking a River Cruise on the Danube, a bicycle tour through Tuscany, a combination winery tour/wildlife safari to Africa or immersion into any other wine region, Wine Lovers Travel has the knowledge, experience and passion to book you on the most personal and authentic trip you will ever take!
ABOUT GAIL SHERMAN
Wine Lovers Travel CEO/Founder Gail Sherman has always been passionate about travel. While building a successful career in corporate sales, she also moonlighted in various travel ventures. In 2013, Gail decided it was time to stop moonlighting and to start working full-time in the travel industry. Around that same time, Gail leveraged living in California's Central Coast wine region with studying wine. She earned a wine certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) to further her knowledge and give her greater credibilty for her wine-themed travel career.
Today, Wine Lovers Travel engages with winery owners, sommeliers and other industry experts to host truly original cruises and tours wherever wine is grown. We work with both groups and individual trravelers.
